I could write out exactly what I thought of the movie "The Avengers" last night but the point of doing my blog in audio form means I shouldn't. I will say that I think I enjoyed the movie twice as much as I normally would've because sitting behind me was a family with 3 young boys. Ranging from the ages of 7-10ish they were hopped up on pop from the get go. One of them was rocking a Captain America mask and before the movie started he was telling his brothers what he would do if they were attacked in the theater. Those three kids made a comic book movie so much better because EVERY time someone got shot or punched or kicked or smashed or anythinged all three of the kids would drop a "ooooooooooo" or "awe" or "YES!!!!". It was cool and nice to be brought back down to the reality that movies are just meant to be fun and comic book movies are meant to make you "oooooo" and "awe" and not critique and nit pick.
