Well after losing two straight series (2 out of three to both Seattle and Detroit) the Angels were reeling a little bit. However a trip to Camden Yards seemed to be a cure for their ills.

The Angels headed to Baltimore for a quick 2 game series with the O's. In the first game, the Angel offense battered Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie and the O's bullpen mercilessly in an 11-6 win. Kendry Morales stood out going 4-4 with 2 2b's and 2 HR's to go with his 5 RBI.

In game 2 the Orioles Rich Hill did a much better job to silence Halo bats, unfortunately Angels ace John Lackey was a little bit sharper spinning a 7 hit complete game shutout in a 4-0 Angels victory.

The Angels are now 13-8 and sitting atop the AL West. However the road gets a little tougher as they now must head to Yankee stadium to take on the vaunted Yankees for a 4 game set.
