I went ahead and started a new one with the Royals. Some games will be MOM and I'll play some games. Just see how it goes.

The Angels headed to Baltimore for a quick 2 game series with the O's. In the first game, the Angel offense battered Orioles starter Jeremy Guthrie and the O's bullpen mercilessly in an 11-6 win. Kendry Morales stood out going 4-4 with 2 2b's and 2 HR's to go with his 5 RBI.
In game 2 the Orioles Rich Hill did a much better job to silence Halo bats, unfortunately Angels ace John Lackey was a little bit sharper spinning a 7 hit complete game shutout in a 4-0 Angels victory.
The Angels are now 13-8 and sitting atop the AL West. However the road gets a little tougher as they now must head to Yankee stadium to take on the vaunted Yankees for a 4 game set.

- Mariners placed OF Endy Chavez on 60 day DL. (Fractured Arm). Recalled OF Charlton Jimerson

- Red Sox place 1B Kevin Youklis on 15 day DL (MCL Sprain). Recalled OF Paul McAnulty.

News from around the league:
- The Reds placed OF Willy Taveras on 15 day DL (Inflamed Hip)
- The Twins activated RHP Nick Blackburn from DL and optioned Sean Henn to AAA Rochester
- The Brewers placed RHP Yovani Gallardon on the 15 day DL (Fractured Wrist). They recalled LHP Chris Capuano
- The Cleveland Indians currently have the best record in baseball going 13-5 so far in the young season.
- Every team in the AL Central is currently at .500 or above except KC. But the Royals are 8-9.

Guerrero hit a grand slam of off Zach Miner in the 6th to break the game wide open. That home run was the 400th of Guerrero's career.

Something got in to Dontrell Willis as he was lights out, until the 6th inning. The Angels scratched out 2 runs in the 6th, but the Tigers bullpen came in and put out the fire. Jered Weaver was shaky again i this start..
We may try to acquire a first baseman as Kendry Morales has been inconsistent at best. It's only April so have to see how it goes. Will try to dangle Gary Matthews out there and see if I get any takers, but as of now he's not officially on the trade block.
In other news around the league:
The Yankees placed CC Sabathia on the 15 day DL with a shoulder strain and recalled Phil Hughes. They also placed OF Brett Gardner on the 60 day DL with a broken arm.
The White Sox placed John Danks on the 60 day DL with a shoulder seperation and recalled Jose Contreras.
The Mariners placed RHP Brandon Morrow on the 15 day DL with a hip injury and recalled Garrett Olson.

Opened a 3 game set on the road by defeating the Mariners 6-2. Vlad hit career home run #397 in that game.

On a side note, I had 11 pitchers up with the big club, but I have been wearing my bullpen out, so I sent Reggie Willits to SLC and recalled Alex Serrano to give me 12 arms with the big club.

So I am starting my "Season" with the Angels. Same as before, MOM Mode sliders default.
We will open up against the A's at home for a 4 game set.
Pitching Matchups are:
Justin Duchscherer vs. John Lackey
Dana Eveland vs. Ervin Santana
Sean Gallagher vs. Joe Saunders
Dallas Braden vs. Jered Weaver.
These two teams figure to be the favorites in the AL West. So this will let both teams know where they stand.
