I feel you, man. But I think the best way to celebrate your friend's memory is to continue to enjoy all aspects of your life, including the holidays. I know it's a difficult time of year when you've lost someone special, but I think they'd want you to keep living the same way and not go into a shell. Your loved ones want to see you happy, not down in the dumps. Hang in there. Always honor the memory of those you love who are no longer with you, but always try to look towards the future with a positive and upbeat outlook. Life goes on.

Thanks for the post, I appreciate it. It's still weird since I knew him from 2nd grade up until 2006 and no one really thinks anyone will be leaving/passing away.. somehow our group managed to make it to graduate from high school and into college without anyone hurt.
