Goalies can't save what they can't see. In NHL 12, the camera angle you choose to play from is just as crucial to seeing the puck as the vision rating that keeps you from being screened.
While NHL 12's custom camera is a great feature -- one that every sports game should have -- it unfortunately only applies to skaters and doesn't work for goalies.
Goalies must choose from eight preset camera angles, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

EA Tiburon's final roster update for Madden NFL 12 hit consoles shortly after the New York Giants' Super Bowl XLVI victory. As no more official updates will be released for Madden NFL 12, gamers must now update the game themselves to keep it relevant.
If you have a USB flash drive, there are already several great roster updates ready for download on the OS forums.
For Madden players who want to update the game manually, here is a handy list of all the free agency moves and trades that have occurred since the final EA Tiburon roster update...

Just in time for the start of NFL OTAs, RateSports has released its latest modification project for the Xbox 360 version of All Pro Football 2K8:If you can't view the embedded video, click here.
The "NFL 2K13" project includes:

1) Season mode files featuring all 32 NFL teams. There is one file for each NFL team, usable in season mode only.
2) A selection of head-to-head files featuring eight NFL teams per pack. Each head-to-head file pack includes eight NFL teams for use in local exhibition mode.
These files are for offline use only and will not work online.
Only the Xbox 360 version of All Pro Football 2K8 is supported. A PlayStation 3 version of the mod is not possible due to Sony's current file encryption system.

- An old-school upright stance on the right trigger.
- The modern crouching stance that today's NHL goalies use, which is activated by pressing the left and right triggers at the same time.

In real life, small, athletic goalies like Boston's Tim Thomas (5'11" 208 lbs.) can make up for their height disadvantage by coming far out of the goal crease and cutting down shooting angles.Unfortunately, aggressive goaltending tactics tend to fail in NHL 12, as the game makes it too easy for offensive players to skate by and pass around goalies who leave the paint.
Instead of making your goalie small and quick, try modeling him after a big-body, crease-camper like Nashville's Pekka Rinne (6'5" 209 lbs.) or Phoenix's Mike Smith (6'4" 218 lbs.).
Larger goalies can play deeper in the net thanks to all the physical space they take up. A bonus to staying inside the paint is that, the deeper you play, the less lateral distance you have to cover on cross-ice one-timers, which remain the most-popular scoring tactic among teams online.

Tim Schafer's Double Fine Production team (Psychonauts, Brutal Legend) wanted to make a new point-and-click adventure game.
Knowing that major game publishers would be hesitant to fund a new release in what's considered a "dated," arguably "dead" genre, Double Fine turned to its fans to subsidize some of their development costs.
Enter Kickstarter, "The world's largest funding program for creative projects." Kickstarter allows game developers to pitch an idea, set a fundraising goal for how much money it will take to get the project released, then see if fans on the Internet are willing to donate money to get the game launched.
