Thats is the exact emotion I felt after watching Arsenal's improbable 2-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Arsenal had been defeated pretty easily the previous two weeks at the hands of Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Going into this weekends contest with Chelsea. Who had only given 4 goals in the EPL the entire season. It was looking like our chances of winning the EPL were about to end at The Bridge.

I have been one of the more pessimistic Arsenal fans on this board. But even the most optomistic fans didn't see this match ending well for the Gunners. Especially after a Johann Dijourou own goal, but after Robin Van Persie who was clearly offside scored the equaliser. Then almost immediately scored his second goal of the game on Cesc Fabregas free kick. The Gunners had snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat.

I still think Wenger needs to spend some money in the Janurary transfer window. Because this team is blatantly inconsistent. Eventhough Arsenal is beating the Manchester United's and Chelsea's of the world. Its not gonna matter if we can't beat the Stoke City's or Hull City's.

I've been a fan of sports since I was a child. This has been probably the roughest few months I have ever endured as a sports fan.

It started with Michigan Football as my worst fears were realized and this team was indeed as bad as I thought they were going to be. Most of my friends from back home said that this was an eight team. I just didn't see it, and I was right.

After that came the Season with the joke of franchise which is the Cincinnati Bengals. Boy do I sure wish I didn't like their helmets so much as a kid and I could avoided this awfully ran franchise. Then again I would have just probably ended up being a Lions fan, which is just as worse.

This season officially cemented this team back to their rightful place of being a laughing stock of the NFL. Which was further proven by today's tie against the Eagles, who basically did everything other than actually walking off the field to try lose the game. Talk about snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory. I would like to think the team is looking up but until Mike Brown sells the team, I will continue to cheer for a lame duck team.

Arsenal is basically doing what Arsenal has done for the last couple of years. Playing young kids and not winning any trophies. I like Arsene Wenger better than anybody, but he needs to push his ego aside and start spending some money. This Baby Gunners team just doesn't have what it takes to win trophies.

The Knicks are the Knicks. Enough said.

At least I have Carolina Basketball to look forward to this Winter, and another Cubs playoff collapse this Summer.

Oh the life of a diehard sports fan.
