Tengo Juego's Blog

Why do people feel they need to quote the original post when they reply with something like, "LOVE this dude." Or "I'm with you on this"?
Is it really necessary to make the rest of us re-load what we saw 4 pages back? OH, and don't get me started on the people who quote posts with mass amounts of images and or videos. Gimme a break.
This should be added to the unwritten rules of forum browsing on ALL forums.
Quick reply FTW!

Sometimes on the BIG threads that have posts flying in, if you don't quote the exact post...you could end up +1 and whatnot with a guy who posted while you were typing that disagreed with the post you were refering to.

on this site there's probably a couple people in each game's forum who can get away with posts like this because they are well respected and people care about what they have to say. (ie Knight, RodCarew on The Show's boards) and when i was on a UH board everyone could get away with it because they're were 25 or so regulars and we all care about each others opinions. But on OS generally i don't care about other people opinions because there's so many casual posters like myself that who cares if you agree with my point.
as for the images... it gets even worse when you're in a custom cover thread and your internet is sketchy like mine. if you don't check the thread regularly it is just gonna be flooded with stupid posts
