Just about 3 hours ago Ryan Fitzpatrick hopelessly fired the last pass in the game to Stevie Johnson. Although Johnson put up a good fight for the ball, it got deflected by Jim Leonard to end the game. Overall, the Bills did good throughout the game. In the first half their defense was stellar. Some of the best defense I've seen from them all season long. However, as we all knew, the poorly built Bills defense would collapse sooner or later. The collapse started in the 2nd quarter for this game. The Bills simply fell apart and left it all to the offense to take care of it. The offense was taking care of it and doing great all game. They just kept it coming at the Jets and never stopped.
This game extended the Bills skid to a 4 game losing streak. The Bills are just about eliminated from the playoffs but I wouldn't get you hopes up. It's not Madden, the chances of the Bills turning it around and winning 5 straight to make the playoffs is extremely low. Especially with the amount of players on IR. Mainly the loss of Fred Jackson, although, they have some major losses with McGee, Wood, Williams and Jones out as well. Personally, I would like it if the Bills lose out so that we have a chance at getting Justin Blackmon or an elite linebacker through the draft.
