Scott Hanson Reportedly Joins Madden NFL 26 as New In-Game Voice

Big news Madden fans—Seven hours of commercial-free football is coming to your console… sort of. Fox Sports NFL Insider Jordan Schultz has revealed that Scott Hanson, the longtime host of NFL RedZone, will be the new in-game voice for Madden NFL 26. While it’s still unclear exactly what role Hanson will take on, the hope is that he’ll bring some sort of RedZone-style show or even a halftime segment to the game.

As part of EA’s efforts to refresh the Madden NFL broadcast team, fans are also hoping for the return of in-game cutaways to highlights from other games in progress—a feature that was a fan favorite in previous editions.

Hanson is currently a free agent after his contract with NFL Media reportedly expired following the 2024 NFL season. Known for his energetic and passionate delivery on RedZone, he’s expected to add a new layer of excitement to the game.

Madden NFL 26 is expected to drop in August with the hype train usually kicking off in June when the cover athlete is revealed.
