Who hasn't let the computer play by itself? I mean let the computer play as their favorite team, fighter or athlete to see how realistic the outcome would be. Many want to see does the CPU VS. CPU act and react realistic to that athlete(player) or team.

There are some gamers who may want to see if Kobe Bryant will be a ball hog, or how your favorite quarterback reacts to a situation that could win or lose it for the team in the final seconds of a game, or a boxer using a strategy ... Read More

This is a question I ask the sports gaming community. What would really make you fully enjoy your favorite game and make it perfect? Should your answer go for all sports? Let's say boxing or a MMA game.

Here's what would make it perfect for me,

Customization
Presentation
Detail to the sport
Roster slots
Deep character editing and creation mode
Gameplay
Total control
Options

This would do it for me. I ... Read More

Hey,

I just signed the petition "Fight Night should go the sim/ realistic route: Make a deep realistic game that captures boxing with a deep sim experience" and wanted to see if you could help by adding your name.

Our goal is to reach 500,000 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:

How's it going Fight Night community? I'm putting a document together to send to the producers to let them see what each category of fans like or what would hold their interest. I'm also going to send this to other companies.

Please help me establish this list and document. Let me know if you think I should add another category or take something away. Suggestions and ideas can repeat in each category if you think they fit.

The thing that bothers me is that people say they hate clinching in boxing, but these people are the same people who became MMA fans and guess what? They clinch! I know the die-hard MMA fan will defend this and say it's part of a strategy. The same thing applies to boxing, it's a strategy by many boxers. It may get frowned on by some but it has to be used by some boxers.
Imagine if Lennox Lewis and Holyfield didn't utilize the clinching strategy against Mike Tyson. Tyson would have ate them ... Read More

Boxers and those who love the sport should support and give feedback to these gaming companies who don't represent our sport correctly. The Casual fan could be educated about boxing and it's rich history if the right people back the efforts. A sports videogame made me a fan of a couple of sports I enjoy now.

I have been campaigning for a company to capture the sport in a realistic way. The in's and out's of everything that is boxing would be fun. Imagine setting up fights, having ... Read More

EA has a huge love affair with arcadey sports gaming. EA seems to think sim/realistic sports games don't sell. They have been showing their true colors lately by buying or re-introducing arcade style sports games. They have really been pushing these types of games.

I'm starting to think the near future games they say will be sim/realistic will be nothing but hybrid sim/arcade games. EA never made a sim/realistic sports game so how can they fear making one. I can't see Madden or even ... Read More

What Fight Night Champion 2 and other companies need to do to capture boxing Casual and Hardcore fans imagination is to stop limiting their fans
imagination.

First, companies need to stop lying about their so-called marketing research they say they do. How is their marketing and research team going to judge results from a product that was never created.

I keep reading and hearing responses from some companies that certain game additions like modes and styles ... Read More
