I'm hoping I won't have to deal with any severe weather as this is one of the 2 times a year the weather tends to get really nasty. Last spring I was able to skirt all but one of the severe weather systems but the one I wasn't able to avoid I was able to find a parking place at a truck stop that had me surrounded by other trucks so I didn't have to be concerned about the wind blowing me over. I had a really light load (7,000 lbs). That weight is considered light to a truck driver since we can haul up to a 46,000 lb load. 7,000 lbs really doesn't do much good against cross winds over 35 MPH so this is the time of year I really prefer loads over 40,000.
Wind tends to scare me more than anything. I can deal with snow and I can deal with ice to a certain extent but there is no escaping wind.

Stay safe and frosty man. That line of work is more hazardous than people think. You have your friends at OS to talk with while you are on the road so keep us updated on how things go.
