LAKERS fire BROWN, just in..

The Los Angeles Lakers have fired head coach Mike Brown after a disappointing 1-4 start to the season, according to multiple reports.

This was Brown's second season in LA. The Lakers finished with a 41-25 record last season.

Reports started to swirl on Friday morning that if the Lakers didn't perform well during their upcoming six-game homestand, that Brown's job would be in jeopardy. Turns out, it already was.

HANG TIME HEADQUARTERS – Contract extension talk between the Oklahoma City Thunder and reigning KIA Sixth Man of the Year James Harden took a wrong turn somewhere. How else to explain tonight’s shocking news, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports and Darnell Mayberry of the Oklahoman, that Harden has been traded to the Houston Rockets for Kevin Martin, rookie shooting guard Jeremy Lamb, two first-round Draft picks and a second-round Draft pick?

I know it's only preseason; but this is where crappy teams try and find their identies early, before the season starts, so they dont go through a whole season of being bashed by TSN, ESPN, TNT, and Charles Barkley.
After giving Dwight Howard away to the Lakers, and signing a new rookie head coach, Jacque Vaughn; it's looking more and more like a recipe for failure.

Mike Wang "Demo"lished the NBA LIVE series!

One man alone, toppled a juggernaut of a franchise; and that franchise being NBA LIVE series. It was because of Mike Wang formerly of (2K Sports), and then (EA Sports), and then back with (2K Sports) as of present, and his vision and tech that has brought EA Sports division of NBA LIVE to there knees once again.
3 years of no NBA LIVE? Are you kidding me! A company as big as EA, and they cant get a virtual bball right yet? That is a crying shame.

Dolphins biggest distraction; Chad Johnson...

Other than faking attitude on Hard knocks, Chad Johnson is Miami's 2nd biggest distraction to what they are trying to accomplish in this very young season. Albeit negative; the fins should not allow this type of behaviour and should get rid of him and his antics.

Wow, what a day (Aug 10.2012) for bball gaming information. i just read the article ( http://www.gameinformer.com/games/nb...-nba-2k13.aspx )on NBA 2K13, and 25 things that are supposedly in the game now; and it was some of the most hyped up stuff i have heard in awhile. If all those things are implemented into this years game, i feel it will be the end of the LIVE series!

NBA LIVE 13 Cancelled ... or Delayed???

Well, my gut feeling is that NBA LIVE 13 is going tobe delayed for the upcoming 2013 season; and for how long would be the right question. The few things that have jumped out at me as of recent would be the negative feed back from the closed doors showing at E3 2012; the pictures and videos of the game leaked out onto the net (that got hammered by the bball communities); the absences of the NBA LIVE 13 title from EA's yearly fiscal anouncement list (which i will try and post); and finally, the anouncement ...
