On Monday night and at home, the Arizona Cardinals need a win.
The last three weeks for the Cardinals have been a disaster. Their already struggling running game took a hit when Ryan Williams was announced out for the season with a left shoulder injury. Starter Kevin Kolb has also missed the last two weeks due to a rib injury.
Now, the team will take on the San Francisco 49ers in a battle to remain at the top of the division.
Itís no easy task for them either.
John Skelton has his hands full with the best passing ranked defense in the league. Skelton, initially named the starter at the beginning of the season, played alright against Minnesota, but will need a much better performance against San Francisco.
Their defense, which was largely responsible for the 4-0 start, has kept them in games. However, itís up to the offense to recharge a falling Cardinals team.
After their 4-0 start, there wasnít that much hope in Arizona since Kurt Warner played there. If they donít want to be written off, they have to get a win over the 49ers.
