Duhh!

I called 2 local Gamestops and they had Madden codes, because response is slow! Mmm...mabe it's because it's the middle of summer, or interest is low because of the teams in the demo. I know, they were in last years Superbowl, but lets get real. For example: Steelers vs Eagles, Dallas vs Texans etc...or let the gamers pick the the 2 teams, in other words...be creative! Ian and the development team is on point (we hope) with the game, it's the corporate marketing geeks who don't get it! Their brains are made of teflon...we tell them what we want, but it doesn't stick! This code thing makes no sense, NCAA, Fight 4 didn't have pre-sale codes. A few years ago, after Houston built Reliant stadium, they didn't tear down the Astrodome, they tore down Astroworld, the amusement park?! My guess is, the dome is the 8th wonder of the world, the 9th wonder is...Why? Makes no sense!

It's the time that exsist between NCAA post launch and the Madden pre launch. It's like, time stands still! But because of the upcoming demo, July 23rd (Cowboys & Giants in the snow) time has picked up a bit. I passed on NCAA this year, mainly because M '09 online is taking up my time. Since joining Xbox live in March, I've played more Madden than any year that I can think of. Right now, I'm working on my game skills, and the Madden gamers online this time of the year are diehards, so I'm getting a good workout. Just like the real NFL, football is year round for us serious gamers, Well, that's my thought 4 right now...see you on the field! 27 Days and counting....

Getting Ready

It's the July 4th weekend, and I'm starting to feel the heat. No it's not weather related...it's the heat from football fever. We are just six weeks away from Madden 10. Six weeks from today (July 3rd) The streets will empty, phones will be off, no blogs forums or tweets will be posted...just the sound of game plans being prepared for what we've all been waiting for..."Online Franhise"... The Players Edition! If EA did their homework, next year there may not be a need to make Madden 11, just "upgrades"! Again, it's too early to tell...because EA has disapointed before...you know, "it's the best Madden ever"...you get home, load it, and it's like..what happened to this and that...and 4 me it's the dreaded online lag. This year I may have solved that problem...the DGL 4500 router, tailor made for the gamer. In the mean time, I'll be checking every site between now and 8/14/09...Getting Ready!
