The dust has settled from UFC 148 and now the UFC looks to build upon their momentum with a free night of fights on Fuel TV.
The Main Event features Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman.
Munoz is riding a four fight win streak and has won seven of his last eight fights overall.
Weidman is a perfect 8-0 in his young career with four of those wins coming within the UFC. Five of Weidman's eight fights have been decided in the first round.
Predicting the winner of Munoz vs. Weidman is tough. That's not to say most UFC fights are hard to handicap, but after taking the time to revisit the fights both of these men have been involved in I can see it going either way (way to go out on a limb, I know).
However, my predictions have been in a slump lately and I'm determined to go on a winning streak of my own.
Prediction: Mark Munoz via split decision
The fight card also features the return of Joey Beltran who was knocked out of the UFC by Lavar Johnson in January.
Beltran has always displayed great knockout power and is being given another shot with the UFC due to the rash of injuries the promotion has gone through as of late.
Beltran's opponent, James Te-Huna, also has the majority of his wins come by way of knockout.
I'm most excited to see these two slug it out.
Prediction: Fight of the Night
