Well, it took me almost a year;
I play CPU vs CPU exclusively in Franchise Mode, viewing every game.
Last year, when I left off, I had sliders that were at least reasonable facsimiles of what I see on Sundays in the NFL. Not perfect, but reasonable.
But the problem I was having was that in a 16 game week, 14 of the games were statistically fair, but there was always that abnomally were maybe the Steelers would score 50 points by halftime against the Ravens.
Well, yesterday, I had been playing The Show since March. I decided out of boredom to pop in my EA Football games just to remind myself why I quit playing last year in Mid Season. I took a deep breath and started up my season where I had left off...
It always seems like there are times when a person sees things clearer after stepping away from an issue. This must have been the case this time.
For some reason, I looked at my sliders and stats and I immediately saw what one of my problems were; I had my Pass Rush at 38. Waaay too high. So I dropped that down to zero.
And I had QB Acc at 50. Thats why my QBs were throwing for 500 yds a game. Because they was averaging almost 25 yds per completion. You look at the NFL and average Comp YDs is less than 10. So I dropped that slider down to 5. And whaddyaknow, it worked!!
And I discovered something else thats helpful, which I'm sure most of you already use.. But when a game gets out of wack, becomes a blow-out, there's this little thing called the Depth Chart. I put little used Rookies in the game. And it works too!!! So maybe, just maybe I've figured out this game finally. I had given up on it. It made last year hell. Please don't ask me if I'm buying 13. Please! I just got 12 working right. It took a lot of tedious experimenting. Maybe six months of pulling my hair. This is it. I finally figured the workings of Madden12. Now just let me enjoy my football in peace. Oh BTW, I also fixed my NCAA12. Hint.. If you don't want FCS games, give yourself about 20 Independents.

I played it with updated Rosters a couple of weeks ago, but i wait till tuesday when the demo will hit the marketplace!
Will porbably try out your settings later that day! Glad you�ve found something that works for you!
