Gay Athletes

As most of you have heard, Jason Collins has come out and announced that he is Gay. We as members of OS have tackled many issues before. This needs to be discussed intelligently as well.

Now, personally this doesnt bother me any more than if he announced he was wearing a different brand of deodorant.
Good for him. I wish him well. And I hope there's no backlash.

First of all, I want to state right up front that I think MK Knight and his co-horts are Heroes in the Video Game World.
I can't tell you how many message boards on other sites reference the OSFM Rosters and the work that MK Knight does every year, BTW, for no pay! Just so that slubs like me can have accurate Minor League Rosters in our silly little video game universe.

I'm reading where the Hornets want to change their name and colors. New owner Tom Bensman is leaning towards the State bird, the Brown Pelican. He says he'd like to reclaim the Jazz Nickname from Utah.And on top of that, Charlotte is hoping to reclaim the "Hornets" Nickname as well.
I never did understand the Jazz being in Utah. I doubt there's ten people in Utah that listen to, or have ever heard Jazz in their lifetime,

Last year it was Cam Newton.Before that Michael Vick. At one time it was Randall Cunningham or Red Grange. What about Dion Sanders? Hershel Walker? Bo Jackson? O.J. Simpson??

Is the NFL really America's game?

With October bringing about the MLB playoffs, one observation is how far Baseball has sunk in the last 30 years, especially compared to the NFL.
It's the Post-Season and some of the participants have had trouble selling out stadiums that only hold 35,000 seats. Let alone the dismal TV ratings.. Last week, the Jets Monday Night game outdrew the Yankees Playoff game by almost two to one. And that was not only nationally, but in NYC itself.

I read a lot of these dynasty blogs. I find them great entertainment, and a lot of you guys really put a lot of work into your Dynasty.

What is the real point of Coach Mode in NCAA?

My first Hero was Joe Namath (Alabama), my favorite NFL team was the 76 Raiders with Ken Stabler(Alabama), Then when I became the equipment manager for my High School, we got our uniforms diectly from the University of Alabama.
