MTSU stuns Georgia Tech in Atlanta, 24-21

Atlanta (GA) - The Blue Raiders steal what is perhaps the program's signature win 24-21 over Georgia Tech. MTSU took a 24-7 lead into the fourth quarter, only to see Tech storm back to pull within 3. Rick Stocketill's team held on for a history victory.

Most impressive was the fact that starting quarterback Logan Kilgore suffered a sprained elbow in the second quarter that knocked him out of the game. Backup Jeff Murphy stepped in and went 14-21 for 175 yards and 3 TDs. Ben Cunningham toted the ball 18 times for 89 yards to help secure the upset win.
