Just wanted you to know that you've made my year this year. Madden 10 is simply the best game I've played in a long time. I put more hours into this than anything else. Can't wait to see what you will be doing with Madden 11...should be great. Thanks for all your hard work and efforts...

Sometimes OS can be brutal but just wanted to say thanks to you and the Madden team for all the hard work done on this year's madden. It showed in the game and can't wait to see how you build on it in the future.

How come the players in madden 10 on the next gen consoles dont have tattoos but the ps2 version does,and the nba live series has them too.It would be nice to see them with some like Kellen Winslow It would make the presentation even greater than what it already is.

Is there any way the Buccaneers fans can get a little more att to detail I.e. pictures and coaches age. over all better madden than last year and remember to base your game off of real football. i dont care for features tomuch but i love football and keep moving toward that realness we all look forward to every year.

One thing I would really appreciate you looking into is the ability for a person to run routes manually, in both off- and on-line co-op. It works some of the time, but there are instances where when you cut, you lose control of the WR and he runs in a wide circle.

Funny quirk I wanted to share with you. I have no expectations of reproducing this or filming this, it was nuts when it happened.

3rd down and 1, I run the ball up the middle. I'm tackled for no gain, hit the ground, and the ball pops out and the refs rule a fumble. A pile ensues, and the other team comes away with the ball. Now, I'm jamming on X (Xbox360) to rewind the play, and suddenly, a booth review comes in (1:50 left in the 4th quarter), and overrules the fumble. Great, my ball, whatever, I'm rewinding anyways. Suddenly, without going into the huddle, it's 4th down and 1, and only 3 of my linemen are on the LoS, and only 3 of the defense. Then, players start appearing from below, running up to the LoS! Finally, my QB comes into view, but not before a DT runs into him. Encroachment! 5 yard penalty, 1st down.

I never got the chance to rewind to 3rd and 1. Wacky bug, I'll never be able to reproduce it, but the story needed sharing.

This would add some serious QB realism by giving the QB the ability to look/pan in any direction during their drop back. Just like the current pan left and right before the snap, the QB would have the same ability after the snap. So if I am Romo, I can drop back and look/read left or right (quickly, don't want to get sacked taking too long to read the D) and make my throw. As stated this would only be seen by the offense (online), the D cam would remain the same. Additionally, this feature would not only be added for the Zoom cam. All Cam angles would benefit, but would be great via the Zoom cam.

On the defensive side of the ball, before the snap, the ability to Pan left and right (like the offense can currently do) would be a nice added feature. This way you can see the WR's and how they a positioned and make the necessary defensive adjustments.

I must say, I am very pleased with Madden 10 and applaud the extreme change in game play and visuals. Great job!! One feature or aspect I love and think it clears up the visual quality of the game is the Zoom Cam angle. This to me and a lot of my online buddies makes the game very enjoyable visually, graphically and game play wise. For next year do you think it is possible to add an aspect of realism to the Zoom Cam? this would be adding the ability for the QB to pan the field/ turn his head to see routes or even focus on one route runner. Very similar to the old vision cone, but without the cone and the way to far camera pulls back to far. Additionally, this should have no effect on the online defenders cam. so in essence the defenders cam would remain the same as it is today.

Hey Ian, glad to see you back on the forums, I have a question about M11. I remember you once said that locomotion would be redone for next year, does it still stand? Is it going to be top priority?
I'm asking this because I think M11 has a chance to be a great sim game if you guys get better locomotion, along with better line play, realistic pursuit angles and a few things in franchise(full pre-season rosters, IR, etc).
M10 was a step in the right direction, now keep moving forward!!

Ian check this idea out and see if it is something that could help out. Seems to be getting some great reviews so far.

i was thinkin for M11 instead of callin it THE Extra Point....name it NFL Total Access...its a real show and most of us can relate...just like the one we see on the NFL Network...staring Rich Isen as the Main report & Jamie Dukes as his side kick....it would totally work an have other reporters with indepth stuff an injuries updates an whats shaken around the NFL...an have the nfl network logo on the screen. You guys can take what you see off that show & comeout wit a goldmine!!!

Just wondering if it was possible to patch coach mode into online franchise. Just wondering why it is available for offline franchise but not online franchise. Any chance of extending out the online franchise to more than 10 years?

Hi Ian, I work for a website that analyses every play of every game in the NFL called Profootballfocus.com. Our aim is to provide the most accurate data on how well each player has performed, how much each player played and at what position etc. I am a big Madden fan and I figured there is a mutual interest in terms of our data and the Madden database. For example we know exactly how many plays John Abraham was on the field for compared to Jared Allen, which would make the whole stamina ratings more realistic. There is wealth of data on there and although we are still a small site we have had some recognition including a plug from Peter King on his Monday Morning QB.

I think the biggest strength of our data is the offensive line where we can show you exactly who gave up pressure on a Quarterback or who is a good run blocker etc...
