It seems though every year I read up on my pre-season college football magazines and get introduced to this years teams stars and backups waiting to get my chance to play out the college football season on my 360. What happens though when I open up the game on release day and pop it in it's not the upgraded graphics (if any at all) or the new suttle gameplay tweaks but the inaccuracy of rosters that I notice first each and every time. After I frustrate my self over how chopped up my favorite teams roster is compared to real life and what players are missiing or misplaced I start to obsess over how many teams uniforms are not updated or what stadiums are generic. I feel as though I have given my self a case of NCAA series OCD.
I could go on and on about stupid stuff that only seems to make sense to me but, if your making a game about something don't you want to know everything you can about it? get info from all the top sources, make sure your details are upto date and make sure that the game you put out is as authentic as the sport that is played out in real life? I'd hope so.
If someone is going to pay to make sure they are the only one able to make something (aka College football game) then it should be their obligation to spend the rest of their time and money making sure you do it right and as truthful to the game itself.
Quit trying to trick everyone, give us what we deserve.

First off, booo the front of your card. Secondly, I'm with you on the jersey thing. This yea they are going to not even have the new Oregon Ducks Carbon uni. Honestly any jersey they miss should come out as free DLC at least a month after the game launches. Sometime I can see why they do have the generic stadiums. Those probably do take a while to create. That and EA hates the MAC apparently. Hopefully they can get their act together soon.

basing a teams greatness off of draft picks isnt a valid way of determining how great they were. nebraska isnt much of a pro factory. thats not what college football is all about.
so, if you're purely basing this off first round picks, thats pretty sad because just look at the score of every game that year. no one came close to beating us. not to mention we destroyed florida for the championship.

01 miami was stacked but the 95 Huskers were the best college team ever. They steam rolled everyone including Florida. Miami in 01 needed a late game bad pass interception to keep their dream alive (and then played a very undeserving husker team in the final)

As far as draft picks go it really doesn't matter, College football is college football and NFL is the NFL two totally different organisms.

Live is improving and at a much more rapid pace than 2K, so if I 2K, I wouldn't get too comfortable.
I agree with the rest of the blog, however, I also tend to try to put mysef in the developers shoes. The amount of pressure every year to fix this, fix that, add this, add that. Let alone get the small details right. It's so easy to gripe from the outside looking in.

You are right Savoie but when that is your job to make the best game possible you think they would want to do that.
I will never say that they don't deserve credit for all they do, but if your going to do it make sure it's the best it can be.
As far as NBA Live and the 2K series I think 2K is still years ahead most importantly in realism and gameplay.
