The Bengals manage to get to 12 wins! What a win for the team. It was a big margin of victory (41-14). Not enough can be said on how hard the Panthers played though. even being down 21-0 early wasn't enough to make them pack it in. They made a battle of it half way though the game. But not only that...it's with sadness that I report the 'Free Agent' George Binns has suffered a season (and career ending since its the last season) ending injury. He played so hard for us while Leonard Hankerson was out. He had something like 22 catches for 300 yards and a TD over 5 games, and I can't thank him enough for everything he has done. (For those who don't know. I picked up George Binns as a Free Agent WR with D potential and he was 63 rated, but he had 85 catch 97 speed and practically every other rating was 90 except for release which was like 12, awareness which was like 2. After 1 year...the man went from 63 to 71 overall, spitting in the face of his D potential stamp which said he would never get over 70 overall...which is why the injury is so sad... )
The next game for the Bengals was the Bengals squaring off with the Bills, and The Bengals went on to grab their 13th victory of the season in convincing fashion! (they are now 13-3). Unfortunately there were some connection issues with the Bills owner so he decided to allow me to play the CPU. With their 13-2 record the Bengals have finally secured a Division victory over the AFC North, and on top of that they managed to snag at the very least a #2 seed so a playoff bye as well.
With the rematch looming next week between the Bengals and the Browns, it will be interesting to see what happens come playoff time. But for now the Bengals can celebrate! It is a return to the playoffs for the Cats of the AFC North!
