Yes, but probably not until around Christmas or so since I don't have much time to play and I am still playing some other games right now. Plus, I want to try out both NBA Live 10 vs NBA 2K10 before I buy. I probably will end up going with NBA 2K10 however. Last year was the first year I went with Live and regretted it after the luster of the spacing wore off.

Yes, patch 3 will have everything. When is that coming out anyway? I will try to put it back up sometime, but it probably won't be until the weekend. Lives to save you know, lol.

Will patch #3 contain everything?; I've read that patch #3 fixed only dynasty mode and online fantasy?

Thanks. NHL has a patch or is it an update thingy? I have not bought an NBA game yet. I may end up waiting and renting first to see which one I like better. I will be buying NCAA bb the minute it gets out however.

Hey Doc =) i have the same question as kiba, do you have the nba 2k10 roster? Btw, the game is amazing, nice graphics and a great feel of simulation basketball, still has minor bugs though like the referees playing hot potatoe with the player inbounding the ball, but some amazing features like alley ooping from the inbound pass, overall, I give this game a 9 out of 10

Sure bonanno, I'll give it a try. I saw an option for real life or franchise earlier, but I never noticed any ticker working at all. Wasn't really looking for it though, so maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

I also picked up NHL 10 today (curiosity got the best of me and my wallet again, darnit, lol.) I like it too, but its a different beast altogether. Well, gonna fire up NHL 10 right now, and get a game in.

Hi Doctor, I've just read your impressions about NHL 2K10, very fair review. I'm about to ask you another favor, I need you to verify this for me: start a franchise and set the ticker to franchise instead of real life (I'm talking about the first menu that comes up when you enter this mode). You should see a ticker that updates you with out of town scores (I think) of your current franchise. Then repeat the process, this time unplugged from the net (my situation). Do you see something or the ticker disappears no matter what? Thank you and enjoy hockey.

Dr Ursus, sorry to bother but unexpectedly a new patch (title update #3) has come out for NCAA 10. It fixes player progression in dynasty mode. Take your time...however when you're at it, may I ask the nth favor: you should have a file positioned at partition3\$systemupdate folder. That's the latest dashboard update. Could you send it to me as well please? Thank you so much for your attention.

To some extent it is playable but you must get used to, it's not immediate. I'll give you a tip: in kicking situations hold LT and the cam goes temporarily in vertical view....happy gaming tonight

Yep, I'm ripping all the CDs to a hardrive. I listen over my good stereo with a DAC hooked up wirelessly. Those new remastered albums are awesome, much more detail and you can hear Paul's bass and Ringo's drums much much better. There just is more "life" to the music.

Haven't tried out the Broadcast view, but I have time tonight, so I will. I wonder if it is playable or only good for managing.

Man, got all the remastered stereo Beatles albums and they sound great. Target has a sale, $11.98 per album with a $5 gift card for every 2 albums you buy, so I bought them all. It's worth it if you are a Beatles fan or don't have any of their music and like them everyone.

Yes, but I don't have one. Anyway, I found the Xport after much unpacking was done today. Plus, I got my desktop PC set up (I switched to a Mac for laptop use a few years ago after years of using PCs, but I got tired of using Parallels or bootcamp to do the occasional PC stuff like posting for you guys and ripping CDs/DVDs). Anyway, so you guys will be set with the Madden Patch shortly after it comes out.

It was Ian Cummings himself to announce the patch details, saying it's likely to be out next week. Good luck finding the xport (did you know an MS transfer cable would suffice?)

I still can't locate my xport since more things got moved into my new house Don't worry, I know it is here because I took it with me early before all of my other stuff got moved to my new place, but movers came and now the place is a mad house with boxes everywhere. It is just a matter of time when things get put away that I will come across it, and I would imagine it would be before the Madden Patch launches (unless that will be in the next couple of days).
