Boomtown has posted the following:
  • Brian Lara International Cricket Review (PS2 - 8/10)
"It's not entirely perfect; the lack of many licensed players does mean it doesn't quite feel like the full deal. But offered the choice between real players and a rubbish game, or this one with its soundalike names - I know I'd take Brian Lara International Cricket. You will see real names if you play the ICC Trophy or the 2003 World Cup, but not in the rest of the game."
  • Project Gotham 3 Screenshots and Artwork (Xbox 360)
"Another point of interest about the artwork is the inclusion of a screenshot from the track editor - where players will be able to create their own routes to race across the featured cities."

Game Freaks 365 has posted their review of NCAA Football 06, giving it a 9 out of 10.
"NCAA 2006 is easily the best title in the franchise's history and deserves to be played. Race for the Heisman is the biggest addition but shouldn't be the biggest draw. Improved gameplay speed, impact players and a beefed up Dynasty Mode all make NCAA 06 a serious contender for Sports Game of the Year. If you're a fan of college football go buy this game."

Gaming Horizon has posted their preview of Burnout Revenge.
"With the promise of bigger crashes, tweaked play mechanics, new modes in which to demolish all the traffic you possibly can, and online gameplay, you can bet your pink slips that Burnout Revenge will be one of the must-buy games of the fall when the barrage of fourth quarter titles arrives. Racing game fans should swoop this up in an instant, but even non-racing game fans ought to give it try. See you at the starting blocks this September."

Gamer Feed has posted their review of Flipnic, giving it 3 stars.
"I don't hate Flipnic: Ultimate Pinball. I appreciate its ideas, dig its creative designs, and have my moments knocking hippos into oblivion or playing the old-school Geometry tables to death. But it seems like Capcom built the game for college scholars who know how to work ahead, instead of the general audiences that would find a wide-open approach more appealing. It's still worth a rental if only to soak in the awesome approach to the Optics tables, and to check out the game's wacky style. I just wished it followed the old KISS logic-Keep It Simple, Stupid."

GameSpy has posted the following:

  • NBA 06 Preview (PS2)
"From what we've seen so far, there are some elements of "The Life" that work perfectly, and a few others that might be a bit troublesome. Still, this is one of those types of game modes that really needs to be explored for a few days, as just a short demo doesn't really give you a feel for what the developers are trying to do. Whether it works or not, you've got to give Sony credit for ambitiously building something out of nothing. Shootout may be gone for good, but NBA 06 is here to stay."
  • Gretzky NHL 06 Screenshots (PS2)
  • Ridge Racer 6 Screenshots (Xbox 360)
  • Crash Tag Team Racing Screenshots (PSP)

  • MotoGP: Ultimate Racing Technology 3 Screenshots (Xbox, PC)
"Moto GP 3 has taken the thrill of the first two titles and doubled it, taking the franchise beyond the realms of Grand Prix racing through the introduction of high-adrenaline street racing in Extreme Mode. Players can hone their skills on the streets, experiencing the carnival-like atmosphere that follows the Grand Prix Championship around the world."
  • GripShift Screenshots (PSP)
"GripShift is one of the first video games for the PSP system to combine high-flying stunt driving and unique puzzle-solving action in an all-out, pedal-to-the-metal racing experience. Players will race as one of six unique characters in supped-up, customizable vehicles as they stunt their way through insane twisting levels while collecting power-ups, avoiding traps, beating the clock and challenging friends."
  • FIFA 06 Xbox Summit 2005 Trailer (X360 - 3.61 MB)
"This is a short shaky cam trailer from EA's the next-gen FIFA 06 edition, showing some ingame footage."
  • NASCAR 06 Trailer #2 (PS2, Xbox)
"NASCAR 2006 is expected somewhere in August and instead of the "you vs. the rest of the pack," it will now focus on team play. NASCAR 2006 will allow you to be part of a racing team, give commands, switching over to other cars in your team (especially useful in case you wreck your own ride), and of course slightly updated graphics."

TeamXbox has posted their updated hands on preview of Need For Speed Most Wanted.
"We were driving a highly modified Mazda RX-8 that we were told would be an unlockable vehicle later on in the game. Obviously, this car took a bit of time to get used to out of the gate. Just about every type of engine and body enhancement possible had been done to this baby and it sure felt like it."

GameDaily has posted their preview of Blitz: The League.
"Visually the game is 100% Blitz, because even with all of the new characters and cheerleaders there is no mistaking it for anything else. However, it just happens to be the prettiest and most detailed game in the series."

GameBiz has posted their review of Motocross Mania 3, giving it a score of 4 out of 10.
"Being a budget title, nobody expected Motocross Mania 3 to break any barriers. The game has quite a few positives, but many negatives that leave it feeling unfinished and mediocre at best. Driving a motorbike whacking your enemies seems almost like a thing of the past as it was perfected about ten years ago, and hasn’t been developed any further since."
